The MCC Equality Club hosts its second annual World AIDS Day Candlelight Vigil at Jackson’s Landing, five blocks east of the intersection of M-91 and M-57 in Greenville.
Everyone is encouraged to bring a candle in memory of loved ones or in support of a friend.
The Equality Club will provide some candles and hot chocolate. A sky lantern will be available for participants to write names and sayings on and will lift off during the closing prayer by Pastor Steve Charnley. World AIDS Day is an opportunity to unite in the fight against HIV/AIDS by increasing awareness, fighting prejudice and improving education.
